Angela Ackley
Angela longs to glorify God with every word. When she isn’t talking to people about Jesus, she’s probably praying for them! Since accepting Jesus as her Savior, she earned a Biblical Studies degree from Christian Life College and poured herself into ministry, starting several organizations, leading prayer groups, and praying for others, all of which proved to her the immense power of prayer. Her most notable accomplishment (outside of raising three stellar young men) is the grassroots start-up of a Christ-based homeless shelter (sftsm.org), and has recently authored and published a Bible study called Jesus, Help Me Pray!. A gifted leader and teacher with a relatable vulnerability, Angela speaks straight to the heart. Angela lives in Madison, Wisconsin with her husband and their three boys. For more information, visit her website and blog (www.angelaackley.com).

Julie McCarthy
At the age of nineteen, while horseback riding on an unusually warm January day, Julie prayerfully asked “Lord, is this everything there is to life? Or is there more? Am I missing something? Please show me.” Discovering the answers transformed her life – forever! Julie’s thirst to continue to draw nearer to God has fueled her desire to lead women in their journey of learning God’s word and applying it in everyday life.
Julie is an accomplished entrepreneur, speaker, and author of her book Courageous Joy – Boldly Step In, Step Up & Step Out in Your Faith. Julie holds a master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Northwestern – St. Paul. She has been married to her husband, Guy, for over 40 years. They have four adult children and six grandchildren. Her dearest titles are wife, mom, grandma, and friend.
